Fio Health is an online health screening marketplace owned and operated by Fio Technology FZE, registered in the United Arab Emirates. We connect individuals with DHA-accredited laboratory partners for private health testing. We are not a clinic, medical facility, or healthcare provider. We do not employ clinicians, collect samples, process tests, or handle medical results.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information you provide when submitting an enquiry or booking request via our website. This includes your name, email address, and phone number. We do not collect or store payment information — all payments are handled by our third-party payment providers. We do not collect, receive, view, or store your medical test results or any health data — these are managed entirely by our DHA-accredited laboratory partner and delivered directly to you.
3. How we use your information
Your contact information is used solely to confirm your booking, connect you with our laboratory partner, and respond to your enquiries. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party other than our DHA-accredited laboratory partner, who requires it to process your test booking.
4. Medical results — important notice
Fio Health does not receive, access, handle, or store your test results at any point. Your results are communicated directly to you by our DHA-accredited laboratory partner. Any questions regarding your results, their interpretation, or your medical records should be directed to the laboratory or a qualified healthcare professional.
5. Data storage
Booking enquiries submitted through our website are stored securely in an encrypted environment. We retain this data only for as long as necessary to fulfil your booking and comply with UAE legal obligations. You may request deletion of your contact data at any time by emailing wecare@fiohealth.ae.
6. Cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This involves placing a cookie on your device. No personally identifiable information is collected via cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
7. Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by us.
